Your Chance to Win a Business-Building Scholarship

I love a good contest as much as the next person and I haven’t sponsored one in a while.  So as the Passion for Profit event draws near (if you haven’t heard about it yet, go here to learn more), I thought I’d liven things up with a special deal for those with a bit of competitive spirit.

Here’s how YOU can get a $2000 registration scholarship in the Passion for Profit Intensive -

** Write a heartfelt answer to “Why I Deserve a PFP Scholarship” and send it to me at “helen @crackerjackonlinemarketing.com”. **

Your response should be no more than 997 words (it can be less) and can use every trick in the book to convince me.  (HINT: I’m a sucker for humor, tear-jerker stories and hearing how your work impacts the world.)

The top 2 candidates will be awarded a Job Well Done Scholarship to attend the Passion for Profit Intensive for the exceptional investment of only $997.

Let the fun begin. . .

What to Do When Opportunity Knocks on Your Business Door

It’s been hot here in Tucson (no surprise for July) but we’ve had some lovely cool (or at least, coolish) breezes in the evening.  So I made the most of the opportunity to record one of my Passion for Profit video tips outside on my patio the other night.

Taking fast, decisive action is paramount in moving your business forward.

And that’s one of the main themes in the video tips series I’m sharing on how to turn your special brand of transformation into income-generating programs - quickly.  It’s not too late to get in on the fun.  Go here to register. . .

The Poker Player’s Guide to Winning Business Decisions

Believe it or not, back in 2005, when I was still trying to find a j-o-b I could enjoy, I actually trained as a dealer – card, not drug.

Turns out in real life, casinos don’t have the glitzy “Sigfried and Roy” allure they do on television so I couldn’t bring myself to actually take a job in one. But I did learn a lot about how to win at Texas Hold ‘Em and Black Jack.

It all hinges on fast, powerful decision-making.

Decision-making is an art – part skill, part intuition. And woe unto the player who disregards the development of this ability. One bad decision in poker and you can, quite literally, lose the shirt off your back (or at least all your chips).

There are some distinctly valuable lessons to be learned here that you’ll find useful in determining which business development opportunities are the best bet.

Here are 3 quick tips for making profitable decisions when it comes to investing in your business development and continued learning. These tips will keep you from folding too soon, and support you in taking action that leads directly to your goals – impacting more people and making more money.

Have You Got a Passion for Profit?

In the Passion for Profit Intensive, I’ll be teaching my very simple 1-2-3 system for creating a specific offer, generating qualified leads and having the “sales conversation” so you can create some immediate income (no more waiting until everything is “ready” or until clients come to you!).

The PFP Intensive is still a month away and I’ve been getting a lot of questions and concerns.  I figured the easiest way to make sure you all have the answers is to do a quick Q&A post here.

QUESTION 1 - It sounds perfect but I already have something planned for that weekend.

Let me ask a very direct (some might say brutally honest) question: Are you serious about your business or not?

Sometimes it might seem easier to let other things take priority – especially if your family doesn’t really “get” what you do.  But that isn’t going to allow you to impact lives with your special brand of transformation.  Nor is it going to support your clients in solving their most pressing challenges.  They need you – and they need you performing at your top level!

If you don’t already have a reliable system in place that allows you to get a program up and running so you can bring in paying clients NOW (not 6 months down the road), then there’s really no excuse for not making whatever arrangements you need to make to be here.

Because the information you learn is going to last a lifetime.

If you really, truly, honestly can’t come -as in, you’re committed to walking your daughter down the aisle- then email me [helen @crackerjackonlinemarketing.com] and ask to be put on my VIP Advance Notice list for the next PFP Intensive.

QUESTION 2 - I’m “seminared” out right now.  How is this program different?

The biggest difference is that this isn’t just another educational seminar.  While others may teach bits and pieces, nobody’s put it together in a practically done for you format like I have.

I won’t be sending you home with a binder full of new information and action items you’re expected to go off and process.  The Passion for Profit Intensive is a hands on, small group, get-it-done training.  At the end of second day, you’ll leave with your program designed and your marketing plan mapped out.  No additional work – you just follow your template and celebrate your results!

QUESTION 3 - I’m already in several programs.

Good for you!  That’s a profitable, achievement-oriented habit.  Most all the successful entrepreneurs I know are in multiple programs.  (I usually am.)

One of the big advantages of the PFP Intensive is that it’s a highly focused training delivered in a concentrated format.  This is a very specific, action-oriented content designed to increase your ability to generate income –quickly.

What you learn and do at the Passion for Profit will actually help you get more value out of programs you’re already in.

QUESTION 4 - I’m a little scared to be spending money at the moment.

I know it feels like you have to hold on tight to every penny right now, what with the dour predictions about the economy and all.  But we both know decisions made from that place of lack and fear only produce more lack and fear.  That’s not what you want.

And that’s not what will turn your cash flow around.

Now, I do understand - the PFP may not be the right program for you.

This intensive is intended for intermediate business owners who aren’t satisfied with their current profitability . . . and for serious beginners who want to start off on a money-making foot.

So turning down my offer because a blueprint that will absolutely produce immediate income isn’t what you’re looking for is fine with me.

I’m just asking you –for your sake- not to say ‘no’ because you think financial hibernation is the answer to your cash flow troubles.  It’s not.

Learning a system for turning your passionate message into immediate income IS.

Interested but still on the fence about joining the Passion for Profit Intensive?

Call or email me (the info you need is down in the footer) and we’ll have a quick 10-minute “let’s see if this is the right fit” conversation so you can make your decision and move ahead from there.

Where Does Your Marketing Future Lie?

Learning is the bread and butter of any entrepreneur who intends to grow a business beyond the “hobby” stage.

Given what I see happening in the world of online information marketing, learning and teaching are the currency of the future. That’s where the real leverage/growth in today’s society (and economy) lies.

Given that, the people who can learn and teach most skillfully will be the people who achieve the greatest success.

So, a word of caution – There are two key obstacles to learning. . .

The Top 5 Reasons to Survey Your Audience

The top 5 reasons for requesting audience feedback are as follows, in order of descending importance:

Reason #1 - Prevents you from spending time, energy and money on products and programs they aren’t interested in

Reason #2 - Prevents you from spending time, energy and money on products and programs they aren’t interested in

Reason #3 - Prevents you from spending time, energy and money on products and programs they aren’t interested in

Reason #4 - Prevents you from spending time, energy and money on products and programs they aren’t interested in

Reason #5 - Did I mention? It prevents you from spending time, energy and money on products and programs they aren’t interested in.

We’ve all done it (and if you haven’t ever, I don’t want to hear from your smarty-pants self). You know, had a brilliant idea for a product or program that we just knew was exactly what our audience needed to solve their problems. So we plowed ahead, developed the thing . . . and then got pretty much zero response from our peeps.

Hey, they just weren’t that into it.

So what’s the antidote? Well, a little R&D is never a bad thing. It’s always better to ask, rather than assume. (You know what happens when you assume. . .)

Besides the five urgent reasons listed above, soliciting feedback from your audience gives you a leg up in your product development in three other important ways.
