Got a hankering to increase your income but feeling a little off balance because of the constant negative predictions about the economy?
Dire economic forecasts have certainly caused consumers to hold on to their money more tightly than they were even 2 or 3 years ago. The good news is that actually presents a wonderful opportunity for creative, forward-thinking entrepreneurs.
You see, people are still spending. The big BUT is they want to be shown clear value before they’ll part with their dollars. And that’s where the silver lining is. Because even in a boom time (which is sure to come again, have no fear), the business owner who knows how to inject value in her program and product offerings will always come out ahead.
And just like any chef worth her salt will tell you, the key to enhancing the value and flavor of any dish lies in the preparation. Let me share some juicy tidbits to make your offerings even more tempting to your audience.

In the Passion for Profit Intensive, I’ll be teaching my very simple 1-2-3 system for creating a specific offer, generating qualified leads and having the “sales conversation” so you can create some immediate income (no more waiting until everything is “ready” or until clients come to you!).
The PFP Intensive is still a month away and I’ve been getting a lot of questions and concerns. I figured the easiest way to make sure you all have the answers is to do a quick Q&A post here.
QUESTION 1 - It sounds perfect but I already have something planned for that weekend.
Let me ask a very direct (some might say brutally honest) question: Are you serious about your business or not?
Sometimes it might seem easier to let other things take priority – especially if your family doesn’t really “get” what you do. But that isn’t going to allow you to impact lives with your special brand of transformation. Nor is it going to support your clients in solving their most pressing challenges. They need you – and they need you performing at your top level!
If you don’t already have a reliable system in place that allows you to get a program up and running so you can bring in paying clients NOW (not 6 months down the road), then there’s really no excuse for not making whatever arrangements you need to make to be here.
Because the information you learn is going to last a lifetime.
If you really, truly, honestly can’t come -as in, you’re committed to walking your daughter down the aisle- then email me [helen @crackerjackonlinemarketing.com] and ask to be put on my VIP Advance Notice list for the next PFP Intensive.
QUESTION 2 - I’m “seminared” out right now. How is this program different?
The biggest difference is that this isn’t just another educational seminar. While others may teach bits and pieces, nobody’s put it together in a practically done for you format like I have.
I won’t be sending you home with a binder full of new information and action items you’re expected to go off and process. The Passion for Profit Intensive is a hands on, small group, get-it-done training. At the end of second day, you’ll leave with your program designed and your marketing plan mapped out. No additional work – you just follow your template and celebrate your results!
QUESTION 3 - I’m already in several programs.
Good for you! That’s a profitable, achievement-oriented habit. Most all the successful entrepreneurs I know are in multiple programs. (I usually am.)
One of the big advantages of the PFP Intensive is that it’s a highly focused training delivered in a concentrated format. This is a very specific, action-oriented content designed to increase your ability to generate income –quickly.
What you learn and do at the Passion for Profit will actually help you get more value out of programs you’re already in.
QUESTION 4 - I’m a little scared to be spending money at the moment.
I know it feels like you have to hold on tight to every penny right now, what with the dour predictions about the economy and all. But we both know decisions made from that place of lack and fear only produce more lack and fear. That’s not what you want.
And that’s not what will turn your cash flow around.
Now, I do understand - the PFP may not be the right program for you.
This intensive is intended for intermediate business owners who aren’t satisfied with their current profitability . . . and for serious beginners who want to start off on a money-making foot.
So turning down my offer because a blueprint that will absolutely produce immediate income isn’t what you’re looking for is fine with me.
I’m just asking you –for your sake- not to say ‘no’ because you think financial hibernation is the answer to your cash flow troubles. It’s not.
Learning a system for turning your passionate message into immediate income IS.

You want to hear something interesting?
I’ve gotten a number of emails from people who tell me how really excited they are about the “What to Say If You Hate to Sell” program, and how great it would be for their business results to learn what I’m offering, and then they sadly say, “But I can’t afford it.”
Now, for a very small percentage of these people, it’s true - they can’t afford it right now. And I look forward to working with them when their budget allows. But the thing that’s so interesting to me is that, for the vast majority of them, it’s not true at all. They’re operating from a mistaken perception.
“Love to but I can’t afford it” is undoubtedly something you’re going to hear from your prospective clients as well. So let me tell you what’s going on and how to deal with it. . .

Let me ask you a question: Do you believe it’s important to create your special brand of transformation in as many lives as you can?
Whatever service they offer, the kind of people I attract are in the business of making the world a better place. And that means impacting LOTS of lives.
The internet has made that SO darn simple, it’s great! But what if you haven’t figured out how to create an online strategy that works for you yet?
If that’s the case, listen to this 4 minute audio post where I run through an ultra-simple formula for how to do just that. And in the spirit of collaboration and assisting you in taking action, at the end I share a way you can get my expert support with creating your own easy-to-follow action plan.

Are your sales lagging behind (for some, FAR behind) what you want them to be?
Truth is, most businesses never live up to their online potential. And that’s not because your products and programs aren’t great.
It’s because most heart-centered, service-based business owners are confused about how to put together online launch campaigns that really pay off.
I’ve been hearing a number of questions and concerns from many of you about the best way to get started, so I wanted to address a few here.
- I’m afraid of ticking off my list if I market this way. Do I have to be pushy?
- I don’t have a big marketing budget. How do I know how much to spend and what to spend it on?
- I’m worried about doing it wrong and losing credibility with my audience.
- It takes too much time. I’m so busy with other things I don’t have much time to put into marketing.

There’s two ways to make money with your website.
One is to hit people over the head with a “buy, buy, buy” message from the minute they arrive to the minute they leave.
The other way is to create connection and offer value (whether you’re being paid for it right then or not).

Just finished a terrific teleseminar (188 sign ups- yippee!) on the topic of: “Are They Sick of You Yet? How to Conduct a Profitable Email Campaign Without Annoying Your List.”
The favorite tip was when I shared that you can’t wait until your product (or program or event) is done before you start promoting it. You have to begin the launch campaign almost as soon as you have the idea for it.
I’ll post the recording tomorrow.
