The Link between Lindsay Lohan, Online Marketing & YOU
March 27th, 2009

What does Lindsay Lohan have to do with YOU and online marketing?
Say what you will about her – the girl is masterful at getting other people to talk about her so she stays “top of mind” with her audience (and a lot of other people, besides).
She doesn’t worry about being perfect (clearly), or losing credibility by doing it “wrong” (clearly) or annoying her fans with too much exposure (clearly).
She just knows that when people are talking about you, that’s a good thing.
In the parlance of persuasion language, that’s one form of what’s called “social proof.” Social proof is an extremely POTENT way of influencing others, and it’s a VITAL element in any online marketing campaign.
So that’s the tie in, my friend, between you, Lindsay Lohan and online marketing.
Now, you don’t need to go out and party like Lindsay to capitalize on the effects of social proof. In fact, social proof is one of the topics I’m addressing in my latest teleseminar, “How You Can Reach More People w/ Your Passionate Message AND Create 5 –Figure Paydays for Yourself at the Same Time”
It’s FREE and happening on Thursday, April 2.
If you’re searching for ways to improve your online marketing activities, I encourage you to join me.

Looking forward to talking more with you then!

Helen,
This is a great post. It really illustrates that perfection isn’t the goal, being authentic is. Too many of us are terrified to do anything for fear of being imperfect when it’s imperfection that makes one memorable. Am signing up for the teleseminar!

Thanks for the encouragement, Giulietta. And I agree, it’s our imperfections that make us so adorable.
Glad to hear you’ll be with us on the call too!
